Avatar size/shape wildly off (all gut, no butt)

I followed the avatar editor guide to a tee and my avatar is still extremely weirdly shaped, the silhoutte is completely off, and the side profile has given her a weird FUPA and flattened her back out completely. I can deal with some weirdness (like the weird barrel-chested bust since I get that boob specs can throw a lot of algorithmically-driven things into chaos, or having biceps just making my avatar's arms look whack), but the hourglass shape is more of a bent letter J, and I can't imagine designing things I want to wear on something this demoralizingly distorted... Is there a way to fix this or has the junk in my trunk just made CLO3D unusable for me? I was hoping making my own clothes would sidestep fit issues I have with off the rack fashion, but maybe they are present here too...

  Good news: The avatar editor is constantly being improved and updates are coming.

  In this case: May I ask if altering the low hip measurement smooths out the result?
