Grade rule function?

When I use the grading tool, I see there's an option to add a grade rule but I can't seem to find any resources on how this functions. Any links to resources would be greatly appreciated!

  Hi ohmeohmy,

  It would be a RUL file from 2D CAD software that belongs with the pattern (DXF-AAMA) loaded into the project. (CLO does not export RUL files, if grading should be included in a DXF file, choose DXF-ASTM.)
