Pattern names outside of pattern pieces

I am having an issue with the pattern name being outside of the pattern piece.

Some of my pieces are small and that makes sense, but others are not. It would be great if they would at least partially overlap with each piece. Is there a solution for this? I looked at similar posts and didn't quite find an answer. I'll attach:Hopefully this image is clear.

  As a work around you could turn off the Pattern name view in the 2D Vertical Toggle and instead Turn of the Annotations View and add the pattern names to each pattern piece using the Annotations tool
