Garment Fit Properties
So the Tutorial Creator in this Youtube Video explained that we need to change the maximum value of stress and strain of the fabric in the Garment Properties Dialog Box. For the software to analyze the fit.

By default the Maximum values are fixed for Stress at 100kPa and for strain to be 120%. This is for all the fabrics that are given for free in clo. So, if a fabric is more or less stretchy we would need to know the maximum value of the particular material to get the perfect fit analysis.
My question is how to know the max stress and strain value of my fabric? Would I need an experimental setup?
I interacted with Clo in the comments of the video and they seem to suggest that if we use Clo fabric kit, it would automatically calculate the max value of the stress and strain. But if this was the case why are these values constant for all the free fabrics in clo? They must have digitized the fabrics using a fabric kit right?

Hi bdutt028,
The values that CLO knows through fabric digitizing via the kit and emulator refer to stretch values within the fabric file. The garment fit maps serve only the purpose of visualization since fabric cannot rip in CLO. Changing values in the Garment Fit Properties is an option if you wish to express more visual detail in the maps for either quite stretchy or quite stiff materials. It is not a must to edit them.
