I've had the same problem and just found this answer in the Marvelous Designer forum

According to your inquiry, I am sorry that you cannot change the sewing line type.

When you sew the internal line and the outlines of the pattern, it is set to "Turned" automatically. It cannot be changed to "Custom Angle".

Which sounds slightly incomprehensible because, frankly, it seems the creators of this software are terrible at explaining how it works. But as someone with experience in actually making clothing I figured it out, and will elaborate.

Imagine you have a rectangular bit of fabric you intend to sew simple tucks into, then insert between two other plain rectangles. Unlike in Clo, in reality you will have seam allowances* which you have to deal with. Which way you press them will depend on the direction of tucks but they will always be flat against the fabric, or the type of seam Clo would call "turned".

*okay there are exceptions but 99 times out of a 100 this is inescapable

So, likely in order to ensure people don't ignore this physical reality Clo doesn't allow internal lines that reach the edges to be sewn at just any angle. Unfortunately now this ignores other possibilities, the simplest being something like slashing/notching the fabric to free up the "angle" of the seam.

I've tried a few things to appease the program while keeping the pattern piece intact, unfortunately none have worked. The only thing I can say does is cutting along the problem seam lines and then sewing back up. To put it simply, the program likes sewing pattern edges together and regards internal lines with deep suspicion.
