There is data loss when transferring the 2D pattern in & out of .dxf. One way is to measure the pattern in CLO, send to a plotter, print out & measure. Compare the specs.

The specs for the new 7.0 versions have increased to 16 & 32gb. You may need to buy more memory. I know that is what I will be doing now.

This was 3 years ago, but I am having the same issue. Upon import or add .dxf, CLO crashes & closes after the import details screen. My colleague has been able to open the file OK. This is going on...

Open up your Nvidia control panel (or whatever graphics card you have) and ensure CLO is set to use that card.
