Express Velvet

Hi everyone,

I want to express a velvet fabric. I already tried the Material type fabric_velvet. Unfortunatly, I do not get the result I hoped.

I also tried the type, fur(render only), but I do not know how to use the right fur parameters. It didnt look like a real velvet fabric.

Does anyone know how to express a realistic velvet Material?

  What type of velvet are you trying to recreate in CLO? Can you add a photo for reference?

  For some velvets it can be beneficial to take a photo of the real item. Then create the necessary maps such as Texture, Normal, and Displacement to give the desired 3D effect.
