Symmetrical Sewing Problem
I am trying to turn the hem at the bottom of the shirt. On the back pattern (right) you can see that when I segment sew the
bottom to the internal line, it automatically adds the sewing to the other half of the shirt; however, when I try the same thing on the front pattern (left) it does not add the sewing to the other side automatically. As you can see in the GIF, I have to do the other side manually and it creates a separate sewing line (as indicated by the separate color). Been trying to figure this out for hours and I feel like it could be something simple and need help!
For context: Both the front & back shirt patterns here were made symmetrical by clicking on the center edge and selecting "unfold symmetric editing (with sewing).

Furthermore, when I simulate in the 3D window, I am having a problem with the hem glitching and not sitting correctly. Any solutions?

Hi jordandls. There is a chance that when you unfolded the front with sewing was not selected. One the back you see a dashed central line which means the symmetry was applied, but you do not see on the Front so symmetry was not applied. You could delete half the pattern and unfold again or select the entire pattern > R-Click > choose Half Symmetric Pattern(withsewing). But remember that if both sides are not already symmetrical then symmetry cannot be applied

For the hem in the 3D window are you using the Fold Arrangement Tool before simulation? You can fins a quick video HERE about how the tool works and a more in-depth video HERE about folding and strengthening.

Hope this helps!
