How to get bag seam to lie flat?
How do I get this seam to lie flat? I've tried the press tool but it just makes the bag buckle. Thanks!

Hi sheepdreams,
to simulate the side seam flat, you can apply more strenght to your seam angle as follows:
Edit sewing>select seam>Property Editor>Sewing Line Type> Fold Angle: 180> Fold Strength: 100
This will help the simulation to keep the angle at the according seam on 180 degrees with the highest strength applied possible.

Sheepdreams, sometimes sewing will not be enough. What I have done in the past is using a piece of fabric frozen that it is still straight as an internal reinforcement. Also, you can model something that is straight in a 3D software like Blender and import it as an avatar.

BR- Unfortunately, that didn't work for my purposes which was for the bag edges not to bow out, but when I set it to "0" that worked better!
