Separating trims
I have downloaded a buckle trim from connect, it is a buckle that has both male and female parts connected in the closed position, when i select it in CLO, it *visually highlights* the part i click, and leaves the other part unhighlighted. Because of this i assume the two parts can be separated since CLO seems to understand that there is a male and female part, but i can't find how to disconnect them and arrange separate to each other

Which trim are you referring to (link)? The parts are unlikely to be separable in CLO, but you can set the opacity of the part you do not want to use to 0 in the Property Editor to make it invisible.
