Remove inflate effect - two pieces

Hi, I'm trying to make a realistic shirt, and I need to have all the parts like in the real life. When I sew two pieces both sides together I get an inflate effect, like a pillow. See the image bellow. How can I make this flat? I tried to use a thick material and apply in the part I have inside, but I still have the same result...

  Hi ricroma, 

  first, check the sewing line type, at the border between the two pieces they must be "turned" 

  second, regulate the thickness collision value of both pieces, by default, this value is 2,5, you can decrease till the mesh of the two pieces doesn't collide. generally, a value around 1 is enough and safe too.
