Is it possible to use another software program to draft a pattern then import this into the 2D window? If so what format would the draft need to be in? Would you have to trace that imported pattern for it to work in the Clo environment?

  Hi Ally,

  Yes! You can absolutely create patterns in other 2D CAD programs and import them into CLO. The file format is a DXF. You do not need to trace them, simply go to File > Import > DXF.

  CLO is able to import 2 types of DXF Files: DXF-AAMA & DXF-ASTM.
