POM Not Working

I'm trying to get measurements for my armholes, however the POM tool is only registering certain points of the full measurement. Am I doing something wrong?

  Hi Marco,

  For curved lines, right-click onto them with the Trace tool instead and select "Trace as Point of Measure":
