Thank you Daniele Mannasero for the great tips. I'll give it a go. As an additional tip, maybe once one has created a knot, save it as a 'garment' and simply sew/merge it onto another garment file...

Hi Ahn, the first thing I checked was to see if there where Bezier points and there are none ... all had been converted to curve point before I started the grading.They are imports from illustrator...

UPDATE: I think I figured it out, it has to do with the scaling ... as soon as you change the scaling setting for one the ones that follow will start showing out of scale
