CLO 3D for creating outline artwork and GLB files for augmented reality on a Shopify website?
Hi all
I'm bag designer/maker and brand new to CLO 3D (my bags are at www.mattt.com.au).
I would like to use CLO 3D to create 3D models to export sketch/outline images for my new online store (as a way to show features and what fits etc) as well as to create 3D files for Shopify in GLB to enable augmented reality.
Before I started I wanted to confirm if CLO3D would be appropriate for this (I won't be using it for production as I hand make everything myself) or if another program like SketchUp might be better?
Thanks for any advice and suggestions

Hey Matt. Welcome to the community.
Definitely CLO is the way to go to get your bags in 3D. I work with bags for a couple of customers at different stages in the design and manufacturing process, even to replace photography on their websites.
For the GLB part you can definitely export it directly from CLO as that is a format available in the menu although I haven't used it myself. I have used GLB from other 3D for Shopify so I imagine it works well.
I do not have a lot of experience with SketchUp, but I can't imagine SketchUp simulating cloth like CLO. This is the standard for fashion (my personal POV).
I wish you the best!
