    Draw the lines (inside the square, lines parallel to sides and the slanted line from the corners). Clone the pattern over or under. Cut off the square inside. If you wish to have a one-piece pattern, you should flip normals of the bottom parts and merge the bottom pieces to the top piece.

    Alternative, have a proper piece of the pattern. Draw the folding lines, fold the sides and sew the corners. Particle distance has to be low (ca. 5).

    Opacity weave mask is a black and white only image that allows you to get the transparency (opacity) for the open areas in any fabric that has an open/loose weave. So in the images above I have load in a black and white map (alpha) for that aspect of the fabric texture > in the clo3d fabric shader (stack) there is a drop down for loading that in.

     

    Not all texture suppliers provide you with this opacity image map so dependent on where you got the textures from you may or maynot have this image map.

     

    I create my own fabric textures so I always have these.
