Shading problem using normal maps
Hello there,
im having troubles using textures on a fabric. I created textures in Substance Designer and exported as bitmaps (diffuse and normal map). I added them in Clo for my fabric. Problem is that when im using this normal map mesh shading is going flat. I use dense mesh allready (5mm) and its still clearly visible. Is there some normal map reqirements to use in Clo? 8bit? 16bit? Example of the problem below. Thank you for any help.

Hi golab44. Have you lowered the Particle Distance of the pattern piece?

Hi, thank you for your reply. Yes, particle distance is at 3mm, so quite low. Its somehow material related. When i apply Default material from CLO or sbsar files downloaded from assets its smooth, so its something i did wrong creating my own material in Substance Designer.

Hi, please export your substance material as .sbsar file and try to use it in CLO instead of maps. It is possible since we have an integration with it. Kindest regards, CLO
