    Hi Roei Derhi ,

Thanks for your question, in which format are you trying to import your avatar + animation into CLO? The recommended format is FBX or GLTF. You can see on this tutorial an example of animation imported into CLO (at the 8min mark).

Let me know if this helps.

    Take care

    Hello,

Thank you CLO Designers for the answer. If I would like to export the CLO avatar with a CLO animation? Is that possible?

    Hi Roei Derhi ,

Yes, it is possible and there are 2 options:

-You can export an Alembic(OGAWA) to have the animation of the avatar + garment. Textures will be missing and you have to add them later in the 3rd party software.

-You can export a gLTF 2.0 (GLTF) to have the garment animation + textures.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Regards

    Hi CLO Designers,

I was trying to do as you ask but it looks like the characters are separated and not sync. ( see pic) can you think of any reason why?

    Hi Roei Derhi ,

Can you provide me with more information about what action you performed: which format did you export and in which software did you import the file in? Can you also make a screenshot of your export settings in CLO?

    Kind regards,

    Hi CLO Designers,

Thank you so much for your help.

I imported the files from CLO as Alembic(OGAWA) to Blender. Below are all the screenshots I took from the process.

    Hope you can help me,

    Roei

    Hi Roei Derhi ,

You have to make sure that you recorded the full length of the garment animation in CLO. Then when you export it you have to select the parameter 'entire region'. I tested on a generic file and with this set of actions the garment animation is indeed exported into Blender.

I hope this solves your issue.

    Kind regards

    Hello CLO Designers,

Thank you so much for the answer.

I did as you said and I got the same results. Record the whole animation in Clo and export as you said to blender. But for some reason the avatar and the garment not sync.

    See the below pictures:
