    Hi rockyshark007,

    thank you for submitting your question. Your issue could be related to Addt'l Thickness (Rendering) you might have added to your pattern piece or a displacement Map. 

    In order to make sure the topstich on top of it stays visible and won't get 'swallowed' in the rendering by your fabric thickness or an applied displacement map, make sure to set the Z-Offset of your topstitch accordingly.

    Please check example below:

    I have 1mm addt'l Thickness - Rendering applied, so I need to make sure, my topstich Z-offset is +1mm higher than usual:

     

    In case, you're using a displacement map on your fabric, set the Z-offset slighty higher than the amount of your displacement map, in my case again +1mm:
