Distorted Custom Avatar, not looking like a human- smooshed body
Dear CLO Support Team,
I am currently customizing an avatar in CLO 3D using measurements from an Alvaform dress form. However, I am encountering significant distortion issues, as shown in the attached screenshot. The primary issue appears to stem from the Height/High Point Shoulder (HPS) measurement. When I input this measurement, the avatar becomes severely distorted and no longer resembles a realistic human form.
While I cannot share the proprietary body measurements from the company I am working with, I can confirm that the discrepancies are significant. If I avoid modifying the HPS measurement, the avatar appears more proportionate, but the ASTM measurement differs by nearly an inch, which is problematic as HPS is a key measurement.
Unfortunately, I haven’t found an appropriate ASTM substitute either, as the measurements fall outside the acceptable tolerances. Could you please advise on how to address this issue? Specifically:
1.Is there a way to adjust the avatar without relying on the algorithm for Height/HPS, allowing me to input exact measurements manually?
2.How can I adjust the Hps so my avatar looks like a human.
Your guidance would be greatly appreciated, as accurate avatar representation is critical for my work.

Hi,
Thanks for your post.
A new community forum has been launched. Since the current community forum has ended (only available for checking the archived posts), we recommend posting in the new community where external users or internal members will reply to your question. Please also note that this issue may be hard to fix without the measurements and seeing the order of operations that you are doing this.
If you are able to alsp send in a ticket through our tech support with the measurements and possibly a screen recording so we can see exactly what is happening
