Show Avatar Measure on Converted Rigged Avatar
Hello!
I have imported my own 3D Scan as Rigged Only but when I select Show Avatar Measurements, they do not appear.
If I Convert my avatar to Size as well, then it doesn't keep my own body measurements but does show the Avatar Measurenents.
Help please?

Hi freakusbzzz,
Rigged only does not contain size editability. In order to make a humanoid form size-editable, not only the CLO-internal rig, but the sizable mesh has to "surplant" the original body form. So you will have to edit this size-editable converted avatar to fit the desired measurements.

Thank you for replying.
So Converting your own 3D body scan to an Avatar as size editable removes your own measurements and shape?
Why do measurement lines not sow up on a rigged only avatar when the option is still there to be ticked?

In order to use the Avatar Editor, a scalable mesh has to surplant the origin. The purpose of this feature is to be able to edit a 3rd party avatar inside CLO while maintaining its face and textures. If the original measurements were to liking, there is no need to use this feature and "rigging only" can suffice for animation and posing purposes. If the original measurements need tweaking, they have to be edited in and then further modified for the desired result. This only has to be done once and can then be saved.
I don't know how visible it is because the FBX I have to test does not deviate *that* much from the default avatar size.
From right to left:
- original FBX
- size editable avatar with its original look/shape mostly, but not completely, maintained before entering the Avatar Editor and switching from "Custom" to "Default" in order to edit the measurements
- the same avatar after applying default size, the shape and measurements are reverted to the CLO default avatar size, from which edits can now be made
The converting window gives information here of what will be possible depending on the type chosen. Rigging Only doesn't claim size-editability.

Do you mean this in the toggle menu?
Editable avatar measurements are not the only measures that will be on display when ticking on this option. It also refers to the tape measures that can be added freehand (tools circled).

If you feel your avatar's conversion is wildly off, please open a ticket via the contact page and attach it for us to test (if the file is too large, please include a link to wetransfer). Thank you!
