How to make Sweetheart Neckline lay flat against avatar
I am trying to draft a strapless sweetheart neckline dress. When I try to fit it on my avatar everything else fits how it should, except the actual sweetheart neckline. That curved part that creates the sweetheart shape does not lay flat against my avatar like it should. I am using a stretch fabric and I even drafted my pattern with negative ease; so the neckline is smaller than my avatar’s body measurement. Meaning it should fit perfectly, which I feel like it would once the neckline is actually fitted against the avatar like the rest of the dress. And because the neckline isn’t fitted properly or laying flat against the avatar the rest of the top half of the dress isn’t fitted and just sags/falls down. I really don’t think the sizing or my patterns are the problem. Because I’ve tried attaching the neckline to avatar and the dress looked almost perfect, fit wise. Attaching the neckline to avatar didn’t give me the clean and perfect shape of the actual dress so it wasn’t 100% accurate because I had to basically draw out the shape as accurately as I can. And then attach the neckline that has a different shape than my outline I created.
How can I get my sweetheart neckline to lay flat against my avatar like it should?

Is the project already in high resolution? With tight-fitting garments, this can dramatically affect the drape and fit.
When working on a project, there are "air buffers" around the avatar and pattern pieces. The pattern pieces are also composed of a loose mesh. This all has to be changed to get an accurate look.
