How to make a tight layer of nylon fabric around my intricate prop form?
Hello there, I was just wondering if anyone might know of an easy way to create a tight-fitting nylon layer pattern around an intricate head mask with horns form? I am making a mask, and I have the obj of the head form and need to cover it in tight fitting nylon with seams in specific places, now I'm very new to clo3d and wondering if it is possible? Thank you!

Do you know about the 3D pen (avatar) and flattening? The video is older, but the tools still work the same: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhfbY4TLTko You can draw on an avatar and generate pattern pieces from that drawing.
You will not be able to do this on the OBJ, but you can use the head of a CLO avatar, remove the hair, and create the pattern from it, then move it to your OBJ.

Hi there, I did not but after some research it looks like it could help, would you know if there is any way to make my complex obj an avatar? As my prop I am covering in fabric is very large with big cone tentacle/horns out the back of his head to cover with the fabric too, thank you for your help!

I apologize for the misinformation. I hadn't been sure if it would work and tried on an OBJ with a quite unsuited surface for the task, where it didn't. I just tried on a way smoother OBJ and it works. So, I suggest to import to just try it out :)
