how to swap internal lines (set it as pattern lines) and pattern lines (set it as seam allowance line)
Hi,
Internal lines should be outside as seam allowance and inside should be black as patterns, but this patterns did not come in like that. Can you please tell me how to swap outside lines and inside lines? Thank you

Hi lovechris,
Did you import a DXF? Is this checked on during import? If you want to keep the seam allowance, you can also click on the very last point (Convert to Seam Allowance).

Hi,
Yes, it is DXF file.
I do not want to have seam allowance.. How can I remove seam allowance and make internal line to solid pattern lines?
Your advice was already set in when I opened the pattern

Hi lovechris,
I assumed you might want to keep the seam allowance as such because of the note "Internal lines should be outside as seam allowance". Converted seam allowance would be shown as the CLO-internal seam allowance, with the pattern outlines as you want them.
The option "Swap Cutting Line and Sewing Line" circled in my screenshot is the one that should be cutting off the seam allowance and doing what you want. If it doesn't, this is likely about the pattern. Maybe the pattern outlines are not actually "closed" and therefore CLO will not cut on them. But it is hard to tell from afar. Did you receive a DXF from the same patternmaker before and are they usually working? The workaround would be to cut off the seam allowance manually (select the internal lines with the Edit Pattern tool, right-click and choose Cut). This might also reveal through error messages if the lines are complete or not. (You will not be able to cut if there is a gap anywhere on a line.)
If this is not an option, you can open a ticket here https://clo3d.com/en/support/contactus and attach the DXF so we can have a look at it. If the issue is with the DXF itself, your pattern maker will have to try different export options from their 2D CAD / check the pattern outlines.
