Displacement map problem need help please!
Dear All, after review all comments or advise here, and try every setting still can't get this displacement map work! No matter I set its size 2048 or 4096, Grayscale gaussian blur it with 5.px, set fabric and graphic both PD down to 1.0, also try add shift -3 or clipping all these together still can't get a sharp and clean displacement logo!
Please anyone can help me out how to set it correctly?

Try lowering the pattern pieces particle mesh size eg: from 20mm to 5mm.
Also try lowering the displacement amount, 3mm is a huge amount for any embossed logo that thin in the typography.

Hi Ottoline, thanks for your prompt reply! What I try to achieve is a Baseball cap front 5cm tall embroidery logo with 5mm outstand from the cap surface! The PD of cap's pattern and the graphic displacement PD both already set down to max.1.0 still can't get it work, I think it is CLO limitation sadly!
Also hope future we can set the sitiches z off set now as you can see (below picture) stitching float way to high from the surface:

Unfortunately, Particle 1 is the minimum for displacement. I can recommend making more blur around the edges.

Sure I see what you mean, the same thing you would find in 3D embroidery. And it has a curve so it's maybe important to get in all that texture as well where the foam raises the embroidery out.
You could do this using a similar process I outlined in another post > (Link) only add in more depth on the texture maps, but make the logo as pattern pieces off the artwork like in this other post > (Link)
