Saving files for large format printing - 2D print layout

Hi CLO people,

 

I am attempting to save a print layout to send to a large format printer.

When I attempt to do so, I get the following error...

 

 

Is this my system constraint or CLO? I am doing this from the Print Layout screen.

  You resolution (ppi/dpi) is way, way to high. Change that down to 300ppi and try again. And you could likely get away with 200ppi for black and white line prints.

  

   

  Why don't you save a pdf  instead of a picture image? If you are not nesting pattern pieces or graded items you can also export via a pdf,which uses the 2D drafting layout for the pattern pieces as opposed to the print layout on fabric.

  

  Alternatively export a plot is customary for large format print.
