Program Running too slow in 2D
I was wondering if there was an option that didn't make the 3d garment make any changes according to what I'm making on the 2D Window.
I really want to use this program in a way that I drape my 2D garment in 3D and keep it inactive while I'm pattern drafting so I can turn it on when I'm ready to check the fit.
As of now, the program runs slow when I'm trying to pattern draft.
Thank you!

As long as you turn simulation off (make sure the arrow in the top left 3D toolbar is greyed out, not blue) while you're working in 2D it shouldn't be slowing your pattern drafting down. If you intend to use the 3D and you've already built the garment, you may want to get in the habit of simulating between changes to avoid a lot of issues later. Especially if the pattern changes are significant. If you haven't yet built the garment in 3D, you can change the pattern all you want before you build it with simulation off.
All that being said, you still need a sufficient device to use CLO, even when working in 2D only. If you're having issues with speed in general, do you mind sharing your computer specs?
Last thing you can try is deactivating the patterns in 3D. Select all, right click on them and deactivate (CTRL+J). I still recommend simulating between significant pattern changes if your 3D garment is already built.
