Exporting Animation as multiple Objects (not welding all patterns to one)
Hi,
I've been working now for some years with CLO and I'm definitely confident in it but never used really the animation tool.
My problem is that I have to export my animation in to an other Render Engine (Maya/3DS MAX->Redshift), the tricky thing is that I need the geometry in multiple parts as the pattern would be(just like .obj export with multiple selected) .fbx and Alembic doesn't allow this option but the cache export allow multiple objects.
The key point is that with multiple selected on cache export I can't apply the cache in Maya or in 3DS Max either(Error). As single selected it works.
So do someone have a guideline or trick how to get out the Animation as multiple object's or is it just impossible in general in a single file?
Ps: If wanted I can share my Project file... Of course Alembic and FBX works but as a single object the texture quality is just too low( even on 8k resolution). So this is sadly a no go for my project.

Ok I solved it,
you have to split up the model acc. to UV's, in any kind of Software that can handle this task.
After that you can Export it again and have now a Animation with multiple objects
