How to calculate pattern area for knitwear? (Don't want the fabric yield)

Hi folks, I'm trying to figure out the area of each pattern piece, is this possibly in the software? I don't need the yield but the area of a pattern piece so I can know how much yarn to order exactly to knit a garment.

  Hi drudgls. I ran some tests inside CLO to see if we can extract the area of each piece. I couldn't. Maybe someone else has a way of doing it inside CLO. I myself export the DXFs and work in an external CAD software that has the marker making tools which allows me to calculate area of each piece and the efficiency of a cut marker and many more things. You can give it a try at padsystem.com
