moving around and zooming in
The controls are very frustrating to learn. I have to zoom out in different corners to balance the image and do the same to zoom in. I can't just use my arrow keys to move in the direction I want. I'm limited in on the 3D side as well because the controls translate the same. Is there a way to adjust to have it more familiar? I hate it so much. I am using the trackpad of a MacBook.

Hi Jack. I'm sorry you are having a bad experience. I work with 3D software all day. Every software will have their own default navigation settings. Nonetheless, one gets accustomed to move around. I personally hate Autodesk Fusion 360 so much after working with Blender or CLO3D. But there is always a solution, and that is learning the navigation shortcuts (see the image below) and, if you are used to any other software, you can customize your navigation settings in CLO.
I also believe you should use a 3 button mouse instead of a trackpad. I'm sure you will have a better experience.
Check the navigation customization details in the link below:

Maybe one of these curious old world navigators are CLO3D compliant ?

Why when I am watching tutorial ( a CLO3D tutorial on how to use the program) THEY ARE JUST ZOOMING AWAY AT THE SCREEN?????????????
Also, when I am watching a TUTORIAL ON HOW TO USE THIS PROGRAM ON THE WEBSITE OF THE PROGRAM THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ACTUAL DIRECTION? 20 second clips on YOUTUBE THAT ARE FULL OF ADS when you pause them. I CANNOT SEE ANYTHING EVEN IN FULL SCREEN!
I am quite intelligent and very intuitive but for SOME ODD REASON (maybe it's an update or just the absolute worst default settings EVER) I am having the WORST time trying to learn how to ZOOM IN AND OUT IN EVERY CARDINAL DIRECTION just to move on over to the next pattern piece. I want a handwritten letter on why who ever thought that was a good idea and how that inspiration came to them.
