Fabric alpha map / transparency
Is it possible in any way to apply an alpha/transparency map to a fabric? This is a quite important visual aspect of some fabrics.

Hi, you can control the opacity value of the fabric in the property panel.
Keep in mind that in the 3d window the trasparency tend to be higher than in the rendering.

I was more thinking in an actual transparency/opacity/alpha map - not a uniform, overall opacity. But I found the solution: CLO uses the alpha map of the texture map.

I imagined you're asking for that, thanks for sharing the solution.
I add a piece of information to my Clo baggage.
Have a nice day.

Hey bsjandeltelfen and Daniele,
I am having the same issue but I don't understand how you solved it, can you please explain how you manage to have certain areas of the texture showing through and not others please?
THanks a lot
Have a nice day

Hello aladdintraore if you use a .png format for your textures the trasparent area of your .png will be trasparent also in Clo.
It also works with Photoshop files format.Daniele
