How to import and export to Gerber?
Hi!
Can someone explain in detail how to smoothly export and import between Gerber and CLO3D?
I try to import files from Gerber but it is not possible to get the whole pattern in at the same time. Also notches becomes a part of the pattern.
Also confusing what file type to import. ASTM, AAMA and .rul.
Very thankful for an answer.

Hi nikjo!
CLO will read DXF-ASTM or DXF-AAMA. When you export from Gerber, make sure to check all of the items that you want to export in the options that pop-up (this usually includes options like "export angled notches" or "export sew lines"). You will definitely want to check "Export Perimeter as One Line" and "Export Sew Lines".
CLO can read .rul files as well, so you can check "Export with .Rul" and as long as the DXF and rul file are the same name and in the same folder, the grading info will load in CLO.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hello Anh. Trying to open this Gerber exported DXF-AAMA fire with a RUL file for grading, can't be imported in CLO. Can you please check?
I will email the file to support@clo3d.com
