new with CLO3D

Hi. I am new with CLO3D. I thought to give it a try since I need to design a bag. I come from the 3D field. I was following the lessons (trying to find particular things).

 

I noticed that they all start with patterns. I am interested to understand how to design within CLO. I would like to be able to draw patterns from scratch.

Is there any course/video which I could be aimed in order to understand the first stage of designing within the software?

  Hi! If you are skilled with drafting bag patterns in real life, I suggest you to refer to below video. It shows how to utilize 2D tools to create patterns from scratch.

  If you are not so familiar with bag patterns, I suggest you to google bag patterns and try to re-create them in CLO :)

  I had never used any 3D, or CAD programs at all until I found CLO.

  Please look up my creations of CLO, all I draw bag patterns are made from scratch

  CLO is amazing soft wear program, easy to use and they provide you great technical support.

  There are not much information out there how to create bags, but CLO is not for limited garment design.

  As Erica suggest you once learn, 2d create tool video CLO offer

  you will be able to design and create Photo realistic handbags within CLO.   Kazuyo
