Cursor stuck on scroll symbol
Hello.
My cursor keeps getting stuck on a scroll wheel symbol. I cannot change it to any other tool, and I cannot select or move any pieces etc when it is stuck like this. Eventually it just snaps out of it and goes back to normal. Anyone else had this problem?
I have tried changing to a different mouse in case my mouse was the problem - this made no difference. My laptop is struggling a bit with the program (only 8GB RAM, Mac) so I'm wondering if this is the problem.

Hi hem3d,
Are you using a magic mouse or a regular mouse? Can you check your mouse settings in the main menu? Settings --> User Settings --> View Controls
Choose regular or magic mouse on the top right. Even if you have the correct setting in the dropdown menu, still hit the reset button (bottom left) and see if that helps.

Hi recommons
It looks like you are using an older version of CLO. We would recommend updating to CLO 2024

I am also having this issue and I have the most updated version of CLO. It is VERY frustrating!

Hi domenicdbr,
Could you confirm whether the resetting described above is not working for you?

CLO Designers I have reset my mouse and make it a regular mouse, yes they are all the correct settings and still this is happening..

I'm having a similar issue, I noticed this become more prevalent after the second to last update to clo. I updated to the latest software today as it was happening about every hour, and unfortunately the update didn't fix the problem. I have to completely close clo3d to fix the problem and pray that I can get a few things done before it freezes again. Interestingly enough it doesn't freeze in the 3D window and I can select any tool in the 3D tab as well as simulate and move fabric. However, I can't select any tools in the 2D window, edit any patterns in the 2D window, etc.

Hi bleachdenim
have you checked that your mouse settings are corre3ct in User Settings. Go to Settings > User Settings > View Controls. The the drop down menu in the upper right corner
Make sure you are not on User Preset and \have changed it to the type of mouse you are using. Likely a Regular Mouse or Magic Mouse

Could you please confirm whether you have already followed the advice given above?

Yes, I followed the advice above and been doing that for 10 days now. It keeps getting stuck. Any solution for this bug?

Are you on a Mac or a PC? If the User settings are correct have you had the chance to test with a different mouse?
If all settings are correct and a different mouse test does not work. Please reach out to our Tech Support directly through our Contact Us page. If you are able to also add a screen recording that would be great! Thank you
