exporting trim IDS
Hi Guys,
I have the following case :
I am importing and attaching trims to a piece of cloth..and simulating an animation.
The number of trims is large 10-30 ..each is copy of the other same object but a different size and consist of the same two materials ( two ids)...The moment I export as an fbx animation ..
it has new ids assigned to it so I get instead of two materials 60 materials and ids..
How can I solve that problem with CLO?

What program are you exporting from and later importing into? Is it an option to export without material info (ID) before importing into CLO, and later adding the material?

3ds max. Yes but how would you apply and change material to a trim that has two materials and no ids? and how would that change the outcome after export ?

We tried finding a workaround, but were unsuccessful. Thank you for your observation, the issue will be added as a feature request!
