sewing Inner Zip Baffle

Hi Clo, I need some direction when sewing a inner zip baffle to a garment. It tends to fold back on its-self or it folds away from the zip. I need it to lay flat against the body underneath the zip during simulation. I'm still new to Clo and also teaching myself using the Clo YouTube tutorials. Hoping that you can assist.

  If I am understanding correctly, the issue might be solved by setting down the Particle Distance and especially the Add'l Thickness - Collision of the flap pieces:
