    Hi nalin97,

My first try would be adding an image at an edge as either a topstitch or a graphic and set the Material Type to reflect in a way that it looks waxy by editing Reflection Intensity and Roughness.

    Hi nalin97,

With a topstitch set to Texture instead of OBJ, it will be easiest, as it will follow the shape of the line it is placed on as a repeat. You only need a small square image, for example (in this case maybe blurred a bit on the edge facing inside the pattern piece). Please see these videos for advanced topstitch application: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZncCv3ijsZM&t=813s and here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypI_SPLxLFY

You really need to use texture masks on the pattern UV in a texture paint application to get get that worn wax grunge bleed at the stitch and seam edges. It's not something you can simply tile in a linear edge as the dirt is a blend of how the shine (reflectivity texture channel) is changed on the suede. And then the height map might also be slightly smoother (worn) in these areas. I suggest you create your garment model and then export the UV and pattern layouts to a texture paint application > bake a basic suede fabric to the albedo, normal, height, reflectivity, etc texture maps > then open up in a texture paint application and add in the wax/wear and tear by baking some extra texture maps to paint in the wax and wear just where you need it. Then reimport those UV atlas maps back into CLO3D and render in vray. Only way to do it comprehensively.
