Buttonhole on double fabric?
Must the buttonhole be on a single layer fabric to work? Is there no options for double layer fabric?( like on the button)

When you place the button / buttonhole you want to put them on the layer that would visually be seen. From there when you fasten the button can go through multiple layers (example a 2 layer placket). But you can also click on the button/button hole in 3D and select "Set number of sewing layers" from the drop down menu to tell CLO many many layers the button is passing through
