how could i Upload a ref. picture in the 2 d window

Hi Everyone , 

quick question , how can i upload a ref. picture in the 2d window .Similar to the  below screenshot .

  Hi  vajdacarol1981 just right click on anempty space in the 2d window and choose from the drop down menu 'format background image'

  This box will appear

  Note before conferming you can click on the image and drag it in the position you want.

  To make modification right click again in the 2d window choose 'format background image' again so you can reset to cancel or change the image if you want.
