Hi,
Thanks for reaching out.
The UV map will depend on the button you are creating, so it will not look exactly like the one in the video.
The idea is that you use the generated PNG from the UV editor in PS to add the texture on top considering the different button pieces.
HERE is another video example using the UV maps from our default button library,
hope that helps

Yeah I'm trying to do exactly what she does, and I'd realize that all the button templates they're using are PSD files but mine's empty :( I don't know how to create a UV texture map in PTS or where to find them that I could work with that... so hopeless :v

Do you want a totally 'new' custom button or simply a textured result using one from the CLO3D button library ?
For many of my garments we are actually modelling a 'button' set along with matching brooches, buckles etc that fit in with the button style and textures. So that is where you can alternatively use simple 3D modelling application(s) that also have some texture editing, as opposed to just texture changes using photoshop with existing CLO3D button UV's.
Dependent on how you want to progress the accessories for garments (you may actually want to make these buttons in low volume) it's possible to create almost any custom shape and material. From, wood, clay, metal, plastic, shell, bone etc.

CLO will not generate a PS file for you. When you generate the UV map as a JPEG or PNG you then open that file in Photoshop and add your graphics frrom there
