I've been dumbly modifying the tiling of the texture and not the UVW tiling itself! Thanks a lot for the UV hint, it's not something new but sometimes you just get stuck on silly things ...

Ok I've figured out an export error (damn ticked boxes!) for the Y-Z axis inversion so now the texture is in the right position but wrong scaling LOL I'll send it! thanks again mate
