bsaunders addition to my previous reply, you can also export the pattern as dxf and add on another file, but if you already sewed the pants on another file, probably it is faster add as a project...

bsaunders you can just add that as a project to the top pattern file. File > Add> Project.. and choose the pants project file

U3M is Browzwear's format, in CLO zfab is the same thing. file that contains physical and texture files of fabrics, every 3d software has it is own format for those.
