It only works for the avatars registered in advance.
I am exporting models from Daz to Clo and in each instance I get the above error message when I try to re-drape the garment or try to use the auto-grade function. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you

hi grayjack64 You must do this on a CLO avatar or an Avatar that has been converted to as "Size editable Avatar"

Thank you. I apologize if my question wasn't clear, but how do you register an avatar in advance?

I've made a custom avatar, imported and auto converted it in CLO with a "Size editable" checked. Saved as a .avt file (the size edit is working). Now I'm trying to change the regular avatar onto this one in the clo project file (with existing garment). Have the same message when trying to re-drape the garment --
"It only works for the avatars registered in advance."

Often this issue is resolved by Saving > Closing CLO > Then reopening CLO

Sorry if we are not understanding. But the Re-Drape will not work on an FBX. You must register your FBX avatar to a CLO avatar
Also before attempting re-drape was the garment arranged using Arrangement Points (blue dots)?
