How do I make fabric more stiff?

Hi,

I am using 'Trim_Full_Grain_Leather' but it drapes a lot, which I don't understand given the look of it in the Connect image. (See attached). Am I doing something wrong here? Any suggestions to help this Trim_Full_Grain_Leather fabric behave more like it looks in the Connect image would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much. 

Side suggestion - I would love it if there was a way to control the stiffness of the fabric - like a starching tool or a buckram fabric  (lightish weight, stiff and rigid, so it will offer resistance when attached to something and spring back where it isn't attached).

  That fabric above is not that stiff. But more like real life thick leather which while stiff will still drape.

  There are lots of different ways to control the fabrics stiffness. Please take a look at this video HERE from our Youtube series which explains in all in depth
