3D Window seam realization
Hey Community,
i want to achieve a seam like on the sample pictures below.


i could use a basic "cover-stitch" and fake the two patterns together.
But in the "real world" you would sew them interlocked, like two "L" shapes inverted so you don´t see the fabric edge on the right or on the left side.
If i would fake it, like i wrote above i would have a bigger clothing piece than it is, because its not folded.
Is there a way to do it right?

Dear CLO friend, inside CLO, seam allowance is ignored for sewing purposes and you would indeed only add a double needle topstitch to the edge.
If you want a seam allowance visible on the inside at all costs, we suggest you create additional, slim pattern pieces (the size of the seam allowance) to attach on the inside instead of enlarging your pattern pieces and folding in the seam allowance, due to simulation stability.
