Sewing symmetrical pieces without symmetrical sew
Hi I'm a new user, learning the program.
I tried to draw a really simple pattern to start and when I attached the sleeves to the front or the back pieces (all created by drawing half of them and then use "unfold symmetrical editing with sewing") with the tool segment sewing it attach the sleeve to bothf the front (or the back) part.
Is there a way to preserve symmetry in the pieces and remove the problem? (I already tried to use "Remove linked editing" but it isn't what I'm looking for).
Below some screenshot to clarify better the situation:
Thank you a lot!

Hi ariannama. The best way to do this is to remove symmetry from the individual sleeves first. Then select both sleeve patterns in the 2D window, R-click on one of the sleeves and select Apply linked editing the the sleeves. This way if you change the Right Sleeve the Left will change with it.
This video HERE from our beginner series on Youtube explains how symmetry works in CLO and can be used. The section about symmetry begins at the 22:47 mark. We highly recommend new users watch these videos to help them learn CLO.
