color changing garment

I have it checked on the fabric in the object browser the fabric I want to change colors, and in both 2d and 3d window highlighted, the colors are changing but I don't understand when I turn desatration ON nothing is changing, I can't get to no light colors or Evan the color white it just stays grey or whatever dark color I choose. do I have to save for the desatration to work? how to make a garment white or to light desired colors?

  Hi kerdegiaj ,

  Thank you for your question. In order to see the fabric as it would look like in reality you need to make sure the 'thick textured surface' option is selected in the 3D window.

  

  The fabric you applied on the pattern piece can have a texture in light grey or you can use the desaturation option to remove any colour that could be on that texture. Then you can pick a colour in the colour slot.
