Flip normal to reverse fabric affects the clone over / under later
I am a Sherpa fleece lined jacket, the lining will be removable and the liner has a fleece inner on the body and hood and Cotton sleeves, the whole jacket has a nylon shell.
In Clo3d I have used flip normal to put the Sherpa fleece facing inwards and then use layer clone over on all pattern pieces to create the nylon shell. However Clo3d has placed the nylon pieces ‘on top’ of the sleeves - which did not have ‘flip normal’ applied, and ‘underneath’ the body and hood which have been flipped. It seems that after flipping the software retains the original orientation of the material for subsequent commands. This is workable, but makes feels a bit clunky and I am minded to think that there could / should be an alternative method to achieve my desired outcome.
Any help?
Thanks in advance
Greg

About the above I am ‘making’ a Sherpa fleece lined jacket and the lining will have a nylon shell NOT the outer jacket! So here I am referring to the lining jacket which has a fleece body and hood, cotton sleeves and a nylon shell.
Thanks,
Greg
