How can you print out real size pattern in A4 in PDF from CLO3D?
I am currently on the trial-version of CLO3D, and potentially this is the reason why I can't print out a real size pattern from my design.
But I tried to export it, I tried to change to print Layout and arrange the pattern pieces and save the image from there. I tried all formats and tried to convert it back to PDF. Nothing works. I get either a 23% scaled overview of all pattern pieces on one A4 sheet or a small cut out. But I don't get the full pattern.
Is this a regular issue? How do you print out your pattern pieces from CLO3D?
If the trial-version is causing this issue, then I am happy to subscribe to the monthly plan and continue working.
If this is not the case, what am I potentially doing wrong?
Thank you very much for your. advice!

I literally have the same problem. I'm trying to print out the pattern I made to scale, but I can't get to work. I am printing off at the local Office Depot® and Staples® I printed for the first time and I only get a fraction of what the intended size is suppose to be.

For example is this photo, the white is my CLO3D printed out pattern, the other is a regular commercial pattern to scale. IDK what to do right now.

Hi amarsilove and jaebezalel. Yes you can print patterns exported from CLO. You will need to make sure to always watch the scale you are exporting the images from. You can first go to File > Export > Adobe PDF. Once you have done this make sure to export at a scale that you will be printing from. I exported as inches.
Once you have exported and open the file in adobe make sure to go to page Setup and choose the paper size you are using. Then set the image to Poster. This will break the larger image into printable sizes. You may need to Adjust the overlap as needed it you plan to tape the papers together. You can also add Cut marks to make taping together easier. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the response.
So the printer that you are printing from, it is more for larger paper sizes? And how would I go about printing full scale from a local print shop if I don't have Adobe? Sorry for so many questions, I've just been trying to find ways to resolve this even trying to scale my pattern in Affinity designer, but no success as the size is not to full scale still.

The above method is for printing from a normal home printer. But you can change the size/scale of the paper using the same method. Then you can send the PDF file to a local print shop

how do you adjust the overlap for taping the paper together?

Okay, Thanks CLO3D for your assistance. I have successfully printed out a pattern full-scale size to my specifications.
It turns out my mistake came from scaling the size in Affinity (I use Affinity Designer), I had the document setup in millimeters not inches like I intended.
So once again, Thank you.1 -
That is great to hear. Happy CLOing and SEWing!
