DIY fabric kit?
Hi all! I was wondering if anybody knew of any devices that can measure fabric data points to be entered into clo for realistic simulation?
I was instructed by clo to buy the enterprise license to receive the fabric kit which is around 4000 euros which is just not realistic for me.
I also use the pre installed fabrics on clo but they sometimes aren’t close enough to what I’m looking for and my samples don’t fit correctly when I’m using clo patterns.
Would appreciate the help!

Hi domenicdbr,
- Have you tried the Fabric Creator? It was added in 7.3. You can input the information you have about your fabric (e.g. composition) and it will generate a fabric for you.

- A few years ago, before this feature was available, an individual user figured out and documented how to digitize fabrics. The write-up can be found here in the comments: https://support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360051861433-External-3D-files
